In order to give yourself the best chance at success, you read up as much as you possibly can. But all the articles you read tell you what you should do in order to attract them.
Not a lot of them tell you what you should do to avoid pushing them away and there is a difference between attracting someone and not actively pushing them away.
You might be stopping yourself from having something real. So learn what those red flags are and avoid raising them at all, let alone waving them when you meet foreign women.
Not knowing anything about the culture
If you haven’t traveled all that extensively, your knowledge of foreign culture may be limited to what you see in movies. But here’s the thing; movies are not always representative of reality and knowing nothing about the local culture is going to be a red flag to the local women because it’s going to make you look like you don’t care enough to learn.
In order to avoid waving this particular red flag, read up on the country you’re headed to so that you have some level of understanding as to the local culture. Otherwise, you’re going to look like some boor who doesn’t care about anyone other than himself, which won’t get you too far in the romance department.
Thinking that talking slower and louder will help you get understood
Building on the above, there’s another behavior that’s going to make you look ignorant, and that’s the habit of talking slower and louder as if talking slower and louder can help you get over the language barrier.
Not every country in the world uses English as its lingua franca, so not everyone in the world is going to be able to understand you no matter how slow you talk or the volume at which you speak.
Not trying the local food
Say you’re in a foreign country and you find yourself getting a little hungry. You have a few options. You can go to a fast food place and get the food that you’re familiar with. You can get something a little more international at the hotel. Or you can go somewhere local and really taste the local culture.
Picking the third option might be what’s best for your love life. It shows that you’re open to trying new things and having new experiences, that you’re not just looking for the same old thing over and over again.
Being too blunt
There are a lot of cultures all over the world that are on the avoidant side when it comes to their feelings. If you’re not the kind of guy to beat around the bush, then you’re going to come across as rude, and that’s not going to serve you well when pursuing foreign women.
You might wave a few red flags without knowing it or knowing that they’re red in the first place. And waving them, even unknowingly, can nip your romantic prospects in the bud.
